Hazards: submerged tree stumps in the water. Be careful, always
use booties. These tree stumps become visible at low tide and
look
ominous. If you are aware of them, they shouldn't stop you
as they are
present in a narrow band.
Notes: Winter Harbor just to your south (right). Most
people
launch straight out or turn right, carry their gear south and then
launch. Do not turn left and head north as the tree stump
situation is
worse the farther north you go and is less of a
problem the further south that
you go.
