Breezy Point (Calvert County, MD)

Breezy point is located in Calvert County, MD.  The launch faces East into Chesapeake Bay.

Directions:  From Baltimore and Washington DC, exit the capital beltway (I-495) at exit 11A
at MD Rt 4.  Travel South on MD Rt 4 24.2 miles and make a slight left on MD 575 East. 
Travel 3.7 miles on MD Rt 575 and then turn left onto MD Rt 261.  Travel 0.6 miles on MD
Rt 261 and then make a right hand turn onto Breezy Point Road.  Travel about 1.3 miles
to toll booth and enter.

Upon entering after toll booth, park to the left.  Launch is to the left (north).  Beach
straight ahead is for bathers, and I have noticed that this is unlaunchable in the off-season
because of nets and poles in the water to keep out nettles.  To the right are piers and
then a camping ground.  You are not allowed to enter the camp ground.  Therefore,
launch to the left of the bathing beach.
