Ontario Park*(aka "Da Rocks")

Directions:  travel east of Canandaigua on Rts 20/5 until you reach
NY 364 E Lake Rd.  Turn right onto NY 364 South at sign for
"Canandaigua Lake Resort Area" and travel 3.0 miles
south.  The parking lot appears on your right across from Angela Way. 
This is after Turner Rd but before County Rt 1.  Launch faces west
into Canandaigua Lake

This parking area is called "Ontario Park".  This launch provides better
exposure  to N, NW and W wind directions than Kershaw Park

Fees:  None

Amenities:  picnic tables, restrooms (in season)

Hazards:  Sloping grass and rocks can be slippery

Notes:  parking right at water -- very convenient no gear carry. 
pebbly launch area.  Nice pebbly bottom, great for beginners.
Gets its name from the slab rock break wall
