Isle of Wight*

The Isle of Wight launch is just west of Ocean City, MD near MD Rt 90.  The launch faces south

Directions:  From Baltimore and Washington DC, cross bay bridge, after Salisbury bypass on Rt 50, get on MD Rt 90
(aka Ocean City Expressway).  On the approach to Ocean City, cross the first bridge onto the Isle of Wight, and at traffic light,
turn right onto St Martins Neck Road and enter the Isle of Wight Nature Park.  Travel to the water front.  Launch and gear unload
is at your right.  A paved road continues to your left for additional parking.

Best Wind Directions:  anything without a North in it.

Comments:  water gets deep quickly from launch -- forget about being able to stand up to rest unless you are at the launch.
Currents possible in various directions depending on the tide.  Swells possible, especially from motorcraft.  Swells are good
for jumping.
