Kim's beach is on the Potomac river, along the Geo Washington
Memorial Parkway (GWMP) about 2 miles upstream (towards
Washington, DC) from Mt. Vernon.  Launch faces south into
PG Co, MD.  The launch is also 5.5 miles from Belle Haven Marina.

The launch is accessed from a parking area off the Northbound
(river side) lanes of the GWMP, near the intersection with
Vernon View Drive.

You can launch from either end of the parking lot.  FIG. 1 is a view
of the launch at the east (left) end of the parking lot and FIG. 3
below is a view of the launch and the west end of
the parking lot behind the trash barrels shown in FIG. 2.
