Lodi Point

located within Lodi Point State Marine Park (LPSMP), this seldom used
windsurf resource is a true gem -- it is spacious, and you feel left alone --
plus you get great wind exposure for all directions except east

 Directions:  from Geneva, take Rts 20/5 to Rt 96a Ithaca/Ovid.  Travel
south on NY 96a 15 miles and bear right at sign for Bonavista State Park
Golf Course/Willard.  Stay on this road 5.5 miles on this road, going thru
a stop sign, passing the golf course and becoming county road 131. 
After traveling the 5.5 miles, turn right onto Lodi Point Road
(if you reach the cemetery, you've gone too far). 
Travel 1.3 miles on Lodi Point Rd down the hill and turn right into LPSMP.
Launch is to the right of boat ramp near point.  From Ithaca, travel north on NY 96.
In Interlaken, get on NY 96a North and travel to Lodi.  In Lodi, continue
straight (96a goes right) onto W Seneca Ave (county rd 136) and pass the
cemetery.  Turn left onto Lodi Point Road shortly after cemetery and follow
as above.

Fees:  the typical NYS $7 during summer free otherwise.

Amenities:  picnic tables, bbq grills, shelter from rain

Best Wind Directions:  N, NW, W, SW and S

Notes:  can launch from either side of point or at the point itself, depending on
what part of the point you launch from, the gear carry can be 150 to 400 feet,
you can launch from either side of the point, pebbly launch area
