Listserv    

A Listserv is an electronic mailing list application, consisting of a set of email
addresses for a group in which the sender can send one email and it will reach
a variety of people.  Today, a Listserv is often embodied in a yahoo group
 (formerly called e-groups) where, when a message is posted, it is also sent
 to every subscriber in the group.  The Listserv enables one person to communicate
 with many using a single email addressed to a single address.  In windsurfing,
this can be useful if one wants to buy gear, sell gear, hook up with others,
communicate with others or whatever.  Although this website is aligned
with bw_windsurfing yahoo group, there are many other windsurfing
 Listservs in the mid Atlantic.  This page lists such windsurfing listservs.

1.  bw_windsurfing yahoo group.  This Listserv started in the 1990's by Ross Cutler. 
It still exists today.  "bw" stands for Baltimore/Washington, DC.  Although the
name of the group says "Baltimore/Washington DC", this listserv
 communicates windsurfing information throughout the mid-Atlantic. 

 Enter your email address below and click on the purple "Join Now" button. 
You will then receive an email message asking for confirmation

2.  more_downhaul yahoo group.  This listserv is geographically coextensive with
                                                bw_windsurfing but is aligned to the Institutions
