Queen Anne's Marina  (Kent Island, MD)

    Queen Anne's Marina is a launch on the western end of Kent Island and
facing West across the Chesapeake.  It is a few miles from the eastern end
of the Chesapeake bay bridge.  Since the launch faces west, any wind with
a west in it is good, but the launch is optimal for NW winds.

    To get to Queen Anne's Marina, take U.S. 50 east over the bay bridge,
and exit at the first exit on Kent Island, exit 37, MD Rt 8 South towards
Romancoke.  Travel on MD Rt 8 South for 5 miles and take a right onto
Queens Colony High road ( Queens Colony High Road is just before
the golf course on Rt 8).  Travel 0.65 miles on Queens Colony High Road
to a sharp left bend in the road onto Queen Anne's Club Drive.  Travel
another 0.7 miles to an intersection and turn right onto Congressional Drive.
  Travel 0.3 miles to an end where you enter a gate. 

Alternate directions: After traveling 1500 feet on Queens Colony High road,
take a left onto Holly thkt and after 500 more feet, take a right onto
Five farms drive.  After 0.8 miles on Five farms drive, turn right onto
Congressional drive.  After 500 ft on Congressional Drive, bear left to stay
on Congressional drive.  End at 412 Congressional Drive.

    It is recommended that you call before using this launch to make sure
that there is no other event planned for that day:

It is also noted that the gate opens at 8AM and closes at 5PM every day
 and thus windsurfers must leave before 5PM 

Do not walk on neighbor's property (shaded in yellow on FIG. 5)
If you annoy the people, you could ruin it for all as the launch could be closed
